My name is Rebecca, and I'm a Small Business Addict
(I also love Sausage Dogs)
I’ve been working for and in, small businesses all my life. My roles have varied between accounts management, bookkeeping, property management and financial advisory.
I started my ‘working career’ as a trainee with a family owned Finance Broking firm in Albury, NSW. It is within this role, that I believe I developed a love of numbers and financial analysis for the purposes of assessing the current, and future, performance of a business.
I spent 12 years in Perth, Western Australia where I started my first business, Meticulously Managed Bookkeeping Services, in November 2013 after experiencing the negative effects that working for a business run with poor ethics, financial responsibility, supervision and a lack of organisation can have on a team and work environment.
After 5 years, I’ve realised that even though MMBS was providing premium bookkeeping & BAS services – it simply wasn’t enough to help save small businesses in our current economy. Business owners need more than a set of reconciled books and a lodged BAS. Having studied small business management and business coaching, my burning desire is to learn as much as I can to further develop my own skills and knowledge to provide richer and more valuable services and advice to my clients – helping to save small business and building stronger communities.
I moved back to Wodonga in February 2018 with my two sausage dogs, Sassie & Snickers, and have since rebranded my original business and established an office near Central Wodonga. I love the sense of community in this region and being able to more easily access some of the most beautiful places in the country!
